Shipping policy
Payment and shipping
- Scope
These shipping and payment terms apply to all contracts concluded via our online shop between us (hereinafter “Seller”) and the customer (hereinafter “Buyer”). They supplement our General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).

The shipping costs for your order are shown on the respective product page, in the cart and again in the order summary before you submit your order.

The Seller reserves the right to choose the shipping service provider at its own discretion.
- Delivery area
We deliver to the United Kingdom and Ireland. Deliveries outside this delivery area are not possible.
- Processing and delivery times
4.1 Processing time
After conclusion of the contract and — for payment methods where payment is received later (e.g. payment in advance) — after receipt of full payment, the processing time is 1–3 working days. The processing time covers checking, picking and handing over the order to the shipping service provider.
4.2 Transit time
The transit time alone after handover to the shipping service provider is 4–18 working days, depending on the location of the dispatching warehouse and the country of destination.
4.3 Total delivery time
The total delivery time is made up of the processing time (clause 4.1) and the transit time (clause 4.2) and amounts to 5–21 working days in total. The delivery time stated on the respective product page at the time of the order is decisive.
4.4 Working days
Working days within the meaning of these shipping terms are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays at the location of the respective dispatching warehouse.
4.5 Start of the delivery period
The delivery period begins:
for payment methods with immediate payment confirmation (e.g. PayPal, credit card, Klarna Pay Now): upon conclusion of the contract; for payment methods where payment is received later (e.g. payment in advance): on the day on which the full purchase price including shipping costs has been received in our business account.
4.6 Order tracking
After the shipment has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email with a tracking number, provided that the shipping service provider used supports this service.
4.7 Force majeure
If delivery delays occur due to force majeure or other unforeseeable events for which the Seller is not responsible — in particular natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, strikes, official orders, war, civil unrest or serious operational disruptions at shipping service providers — the delivery period is extended by the duration of the impediment. The Seller will inform the Buyer of such delays without undue delay. If the impediment lasts longer than 60 days, both the Buyer and the Seller are entitled to rescind the contract with regard to the affected items. In this case, payments already made will be refunded without undue delay.
4.8 Reservation of self-supply
The Seller’s obligation to deliver is subject to correct and timely self-supply by its suppliers (reservation of self-supply), provided that the Seller has concluded a congruent covering transaction. The Seller will inform the Buyer without undue delay of any unavailability of the goods and refund any payments already made by the Buyer without undue delay. This provision does not apply if the Seller is responsible for the non-delivery.
- Shipping from outside the EU; customs duties and import charges
5.1 Note on the place of dispatch
Certain items in our range are shipped directly to the Buyer from warehouses outside the European Union. Whether an item is shipped from outside the EU can be seen on the respective product page and in the order summary before the order is submitted.
5.2 Deliveries to the United Kingdom
The United Kingdom is not a member state of the European Union. All deliveries to the United Kingdom — regardless of whether they are shipped from an EU warehouse or from a third country — may therefore incur import charges under UK law. Ireland is a member state of the European Union; for deliveries to Ireland, clause 5.3 only applies to items shipped from outside the EU.
5.3 Status of the Buyer as importer
For goods shipped from outside the EU and for all deliveries to the United Kingdom, the Buyer is the recipient of the shipment and the importer for customs purposes. As a result, additional costs may arise that are not included in the product price or in the shipping costs, namely:
Customs duties, import VAT (or UK VAT), handling or service fees charged by the delivering parcel service (e.g. customs clearance fee, handling charge).
These charges are levied by the delivering parcel service or the competent customs authority and must be paid by the Buyer directly to them. The type and amount of the charges depend on the customs and tax regulations of the respective country of destination. The Seller has no influence on their amount and cannot quantify them in advance.
5.4 Advance information
We recommend that the Buyer find out about the expected amount of import charges from the competent customs authority of their country before placing the order (United Kingdom: www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad; Ireland: www.revenue.ie). Please note that unforeseeable delays in customs clearance in the country of destination are beyond our control and may extend the stated delivery time.
5.5 Refusal of acceptance
If the Buyer refuses to accept the shipment because of the import charges incurred or for other reasons for which the Buyer is responsible, the costs of returning it to the dispatching warehouse are borne by the Buyer. The Seller is entitled to deduct these costs from any refund claim of the Buyer. The Buyer’s statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.
- Partial deliveries
The Seller reserves the right to deliver orders in several partial shipments if this is necessary for logistical reasons — in particular if individual items are shipped from different warehouses. Partial deliveries do not incur any additional shipping costs for the Buyer. The delivery times pursuant to clause 4 apply separately to each partial delivery from the start of the period specified there.
- Delivery address and delivery instructions
7.1 Correct delivery address
The Buyer is obliged to provide a complete and deliverable delivery address when ordering. Delivery is made exclusively to residential or business addresses.
7.2 Exclusion of certain delivery locations
Delivery to DHL Packstations, parcel boxes, PO boxes (post office boxes) or comparable automated collection and receiving stations is not possible, as the shipping service providers we use cannot guarantee reliable delivery to such addresses in all cases. We cannot process orders with such a delivery address; in this case, we will contact the Buyer to agree an alternative delivery address.
7.3 Costs in the event of an incorrect address
If a shipment cannot be delivered due to a delivery address provided incorrectly or incompletely by the Buyer, the Buyer bears the demonstrably incurred costs of the unsuccessful delivery attempt and the costs of any re-shipment. This does not apply if the Buyer is not responsible for the incorrect information (§ 276 BGB).
- Unsuccessful delivery and failure to collect
8.1 Failure to collect and default of acceptance
If a shipment is deposited at a post office, a parcel shop or a comparable collection point and is not collected by the Buyer within the collection period set by the respective service provider, the Buyer is in default of acceptance (§§ 293 ff. BGB). If the shipment is consequently returned to the dispatching warehouse, the Buyer bears the demonstrably incurred return costs.
8.2 Re-shipment
Re-shipment after unsuccessful delivery pursuant to clause 7.3 or failure to collect pursuant to clause 8.1 only takes place after consultation with the Buyer and against reimbursement of the additional shipping costs incurred by the Buyer. Alternatively, the Buyer may rescind the purchase contract or — if they have a statutory right of withdrawal — exercise it. In this case, we will refund the purchase price less the shipping and return costs demonstrably incurred by us, insofar as the Buyer is responsible for the unsuccessful delivery.
- Payment methods
9.1 Payment methods offered
We offer various common payment methods, including credit card, PayPal and other electronic payment methods. The payment methods available in each individual case are displayed to the Buyer during the ordering process.
9.2 Restriction of payment methods
We reserve the right not to offer certain payment methods for certain orders or for delivery to certain countries, in particular on the basis of a credit check carried out by the respective payment service provider or due to an increased risk of default. The Buyer is not entitled to the provision of any particular payment method.
9.3 Due date
The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract. For payment in advance, the purchase price must be transferred to the account stated in the order confirmation within 7 working days of receipt of the order confirmation.
- Passing of risk
If the Buyer is a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the goods sold passes to the Buyer upon handover of the goods to the Buyer — also in the case of sale by dispatch (§ 475 Abs. 2 BGB). Until handover, the Seller bears the transport risk.
- Retention of title
The goods delivered remain the property of the Seller until the purchase price, including all ancillary claims, has been paid in full.
